The December 2024 show sees us talk with Durham County Tax Administrator Keyar Doyle about how Durham County is reappraising real property – something required by North Carolina law for all 100 counties at least once every eight years. This is Durham County’s first reappraisal since 2019. Going forward, the county will reappraise property every four years, to make the process more equitable, predictable, and manageable for everyone.
